Introduction
In any parking operation powered by License Plate Recognition (LPR), accuracy is key to ensuring seamless vehicle flow. However, occasional misreads or unregistered plates can cause issues, particularly when a vehicle reaches the exit without a valid entry record. To address this, TimeTec Parking has introduced a valuable feature in its system that empowers operators to resolve such issues quickly and effectively.
Once the correct record is identified, the operator can push the entry time to the exit lane. This action enables the system to recalculate the accurate parking duration and fee, as if the correct entry had been recorded automatically. After the entry time is synced to the exit terminal, the customer can tap their card, make payment based on the adjusted duration, and exit smoothly—all without needing to reverse or escalate the issue further.
This feature not only improves the customer experience but also enhances operational efficiency, reducing traffic congestion and the need for manual overrides or free exits.
By offering a quick and reliable way to rectify LPR-related entry issues, TimeTec Parking ensures a smoother, more professional parking experience for both operators and customers.
