Introduction
One of the standout features of TimeTec Leave is its versatility in leave application and approval. Users have the option to apply for leave through either the Web Application or the Mobile App, with the added convenience of being able to switch between the two platforms as needed. Admins are also able to approve leave requests through both channels.
However, it's worth noting that the default system settings allow users to view the leave status of colleagues across different departments. Some companies, however, may prefer to restrict leave visibility to within the same department. In this post, we'll be focusing on how to configure the leave overview display settings and the available options.
To set the leave overview display settings, the Admin must first login to TimeTec Leave at www.timeteccloud.com.
Process
1. Go to Company > System Settings
2. Scroll down to Leave Management section and click Edit button
3. There are 3 options available from the leave overview display. The first one is All Users, which means that all Users can view my leave application. Be reminded that only approved applications will be shown on the calendar, and the setting here will affect the whole Company.
4. The second option is Own Org Structure Users. This option allows users to view on-leave users within their own organization structure only. Other organization structure on-leave users will not be shown.
5. The third option is System Role & Own Org. Structure Users. This option allows users to view on-leave users within their own Org. Structure and Admin to view on-leave users within Org. Structure that has been assigned to them.
E.g. If the 3rd option (System Role & Own Org. Structure Users) is selected, Admin named Ashraf have the privilege to see all on-leave users in the org structure that has been assigned to him (Department Melaka, Admin, HR, Team A). For normal users, they can only view on-leave users within their own org structure.
6. After you have chosen the setting, click on Save to apply changes.
7. Go to Homepage and check to ensure the new setting has been applied. If you can only view on-leave users from your own org structure and not other org structures, you can confirm that the settings is correct.
