Introduction
With TimeTec Leave, companies can customize their leave process and select the approvers who can view and approve the leave request.
However, there are instances where the Admin/HR department forgot or did not set the leave approver for a particular staff which causes the supposedly approver to not have access to view the staff leave information.
So, if staff ask about their leave request, the Admin or HR department will have an issue checking the leave status since they are not the leave approvers for that staff.
In the Timetec Leave module, we have an approval method that we call ‘Any [X] Approvers’ in which we can set one or multiple users as the leave approvers and they will have the authority to check and respond to the leave requests.
This approval method also allows us to set the number of approvers required to respond to the leave requests before approving the leave request.
Process
Update by User Leave Settings
Go to Leave module > User > Manage User.
Click on the gear icon (Leave Settings) beside the selected user.
Click on the Approval Method and change the Method to Any [X] Approvers.
Once the method is changed, you can insert the number of approvers required to approve the leave before the leave is approved.
You can choose and key in the approver's names in this option by clicking on the ‘+’ icon. Once done click on the ‘tick’ to submit.
Update by Batch
Go to User > Manage User > Select staff name > Click Batch Update > Change Approval Method.
Remark: When selecting multiple staff please make sure that you select the staff who will have the same leave approvers only.
Change the Approval Method > Update the Approvers Number > Add approvers > Click Submit.
