Controlling Promotion Availability with Restricted Period for Promo Codes

Introduction

To provide operators with greater flexibility and control, the TimeTec Parking System now supports time-based restrictions for promotion codes. This newly introduced feature is designed to ensure that promotional offers are redeemed only within specified timeframes.

Operators can now configure a promotion code with start and end times that define when the code is valid for use. For example, a code can be set to apply only during:

1. Weekday business hours (e.g., 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

2. Evening sessions for special events

3. Weekend-only promotions

Once the defined timeframe expires, the system will automatically restrict further redemption of the code, preventing misuse and ensuring promotions run as intended.


Process

Go to Parking Rule tab > Promotion Code > configure.

Set the time range to block the use of promotion codes. With this enhancement, TimeTec Parking gives operators more control over promotional campaigns, ensuring both business objectives and customer satisfaction are met.
