How to add a Promotion Code for LPR System discounted price
Introduction
The Promotion Code feature in the TimeTec Parking LPR (License Plate Recognition) system allows parking operators to offer discounts or free parking to customers based on promotional campaigns.
Process
Go to Parking Rule > Promotion Codes > Click the Add button.
Configure Promo Code
DESCRIPTION: Name of the promo code.
PROMOTION CODE: A unique code.
EFFECTIVE DATE RANGE: The validity period of the promo code.
DAILY MAXIMUM CLAIM: The maximum number of claims allowed per day. Leave blank if there is no limit.
OPEN FOR BUILDING: The parking zone where the promo code is applicable.
VALIDITY EXPIRED TIME: The expiration time for the validation/discount claim.
3. Configure Discount Rate
Flat Rate Amount: Customers will be charged a fixed amount per entry.
Discount by parking duration: The system will deduct x minutes from the parking duration, then calculate charges based on the remaining parking duration.
Discount by Percentage: The system will deduct x% from the total parking fee.
Free rate: Customers will not be charged.
4. Click Share to download the QR Code.
5. When customers scan the QR code, they will be directed to the Redemption portal to enter their car plate number.
