How To Migrate TCMSv3 Software from an Old Server to a New Server
Moving software from one server to another can be a complex undertaking, requiring meticulous planning and precise execution to ensure a seamless transition. In this article, we will provide the steps involved in migrating the TCMSv3 software to a new server, so your migration process will be as smooth as possible.
Go to System Setting > Database Configuration > Database Management > Browse the location you would like to backup > click Backup.
Once successfully backup, a pop-up will appear prompting you to open the backup location, please click No
2. Install TCMSv3 software in New PC

First, download the TCMSV3 installer from the link above and make sure to extract the TCMSv3.zip file before proceeding with the installation.
Remark: Transfer the TCMSV3 backup database zip file from the old PC to the new one. You can use a USB flash drive, send it through your company's network drive or any other file-sharing method to move the file. Once transferred, unzip/extract the file into a designated folder on your new PC.
Go to System Setting > Database Configuration > Database Management > Browse to the directory where you extracted the file > click Restore.
