How to Migrate TCMS V3 or Ingress MDB to New TCMS V3 MySQL Software

Introduction

Earlier this year we have introduced the TCMS V3 MySQL Beta version. As of June 2025, FingerTec has officially released new TCMS V3 software. We are excited to introduce the new version of TCMS V3 v4.0.2.6, now equipped with a MySQL database and middleware that enables connectivity with Face ID5, Face ID6, TC10, TC20, Kadex+ and QF Plus. Now, you can migrate your data from TCMS V3 or Ingress MDB software easily.

Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth migration process:

1. Backup the Existing Database

a) Upload the backup file to a file-sharing service such as Google Drive or WeTransfer.

b) Do not attach the database file directly in the email.

c) Email the download link to: support@fingertec.com

Our support team will handle the database conversion and notify you once it's ready for use.
