Process
1. Backup Ingress and AWDMS database from old PC
To backup Ingress and AWDMS databases using SQLyog Community, you can follow the steps below or refer to the article from link below:
Installer:

a) Install and launch SQLyog Community and connect to the database server where the Ingress and AWDMS databases are located.
b) Select the Ingress database from the left-hand panel.
c) Right-click on the selected database and choose “Backup/Export and "Backup Database As SQL Dump" from the context menu.
d) Click on the "Export" button to start the backup process.
e) Wait for the backup process to complete. Depending on the size of the databases, this may take some time.
f) Repeat the same steps for the AWDMS database.
2. Backup User Photo from Old PC
Please backup or copy the whole "Upload" folder from:
C:\Program Files\BioSecurity\service\zkbiosecurity\BioSecurityFile\upload.
In case the user photo is missing after the installation and you cannot download the photos from the Face ID5 terminal, you can use this folder as a backup.
3. Cancel AWDMS License from Old PC
If your AWDMS has been activated before, you need to Cancel the license in AWDMS software so that you will be able to use the same license on your new PC. To cancel the license, run AWDMS software > Click About (i icon) > Click Cancel.
4. Install Ingress and AWDMS software in New PC

5. Restore Ingress and AWDMS database in New PC
Once the installation for both Ingress and AWDMS has been completed, you can proceed to restore the database on the new PC using SQLYog Community software. To restore Ingress and AWDMS databases using SQLyog Community, you can follow the steps below.
a) Install and launch SQLyog Community and connect to the database server.
b) Select the Ingress database from the left-hand panel.
c) Right-click on the selected database and choose “Import” and "Execute SQL Script" from the context menu.
d) Browse the database file and Click on the "Execute" button to start the restore process.
e) Wait for the restoring process to complete. Depending on the size of the databases, this may take some time.
f) Repeat the same steps for the AWDMS database.
6. Run Ingress DB Installer
To run Ingress DB Installer, go to Start > All Program > FingerTec Ingress > Ingress DB Installer > Key In MySQL password > Test Connection > Update Connection > Upgrade DB > Close. This process will connect your Ingress software with the Ingress database that we restored before.
7. Replace Existing “upload’’ Folder in New PC with “upload’’ backup folder (Step 2) from Old PC.
Please copy and paste the “upload” folder backup in the location below in New PC.
C:\Program Files\BioSecurity\service\zkbiosecurity\BioSecurityFile
8. Run AWDMS Setup Tool
Go to AWDMS Setup Tool folder > Double click on AWDMSSetup.exe. Press any key to start the AWDMS setup. When completed, press any key to exit.
NOTE: Your computer screen might flash a few times, just click “Yes” in the popup dialog box to continue.
Next, right click on awdms.bat and select Run as administrator > Press any key to start running the batch file. When completed, press any key to exit.
9. Restart PC (Compulsory)
Lastly, you need to restart your NEW PC to complete the Ingress/AWDMS software installation and database restoration process.
