How to Configure Claim Policy in Timetec Claim

Introduction

Every organization has its own set of claim types that employees are entitled to. Claim entitlement can be differentiated using multiple options such as based on department and position level. 


In this article,  we will guide you on how to configure claim policy in Timetec Claim.


Process


  1. Go to Claim Settings and click Claim Policy.

  1. Click Add (+ icon).

  1. Fill in the required information in the Claim Policy and click Add (+ icon) button.


Claim Policy Name : Title / name for claim policy.

Description : Additional information on the claim policy.

Copy From : You may choose to set the claim policy following the existing claim policy setup or make a new claim policy setup.

  1. On the new pop up window, you may select the claim type for the claim policy and click the Submit button.

  1. Claim types are editable. Click the Edit (pencil icon) to set any restriction or limitation for each claim type.

  1. Add in the restriction data and then click the Save button.


Transaction Limit : Set transaction limit per employee per claim. Any exceeding amount will be considered as a policy violation.

Spend Limit : Set the spend limit per employee per week/month /year. If the spend limit per year is selected, a prorate option will be applied. Any exceeding amount will be considered as a policy violation.

Prorate : The spend limit will be divided by 12 months and will be allocated accordingly depending on the joined date of each user.
Attachment Threshold : Claim that is less than this amount will not require submission of any attachment.

  1. Once all claim types are updated, you may click the Submit button.

  1. On the new pop up window, you need to tick the staff name who will use the new claim policy and click the Submit button.
