Steps To Setup TCMS v3 Server and TCMS v3 Client
Introduction
This
tutorial will guide users through setting up the TCMS v3 Server program on a
server computer, while also installing the TCMS v3 Client on multiple computers
that will connect to the server for data management. Read on for the
step-by-step guide.
Before
proceeding with the installation, please download the latest version of the
TCMS v3 Server and TCMS v3 Client from the following links:
TCMS v3

TCMS v3
Client: https://www.fingertec.com/softwareupdate/TCMSV3/software-tcmsv3client_download_e.html
Step 1
First, run
the FingerTec TCMS v3 Server installer on the server PC. For complete
installation steps, refer to the following guide:

*IMPORTANT
NOTE: TCMS v3 Server and TCMS v3 Client must be the same version to avoid
connection failures.
Step 2
After
completing the server installation, proceed with the TCMS v3 client
installation
- Extract the client installer file and run Setup.exe as an Administrator.
- During the TCMSv3 installation, you will be prompted with the DBInstaller configuration: Insert the server IP, username: “fingertec”, password: “fingertec”. Click Test Connection.
- Click Update Connection.
- Click Upgrade DB. Click OK and Close to resume the installation.
- Once completed, you can run TCMS v3 as a client connected to the TCMS v3 Server.
