Introduction
New devices such as Face ID 6, Face ID 5, TC10 and TC20 require connection to the AWDMS before it can be connected to the Ingress software. Thus, some configurations such as synchronising date and time or remote open or close doors cannot be done from Ingress software. It can only be done from the AWDMS software. This article explains some of the remote settings that can be done from AWDMS software for these new models.
Synchronize Date and Time
In AWDMS software, go to Access > Device > Select Device > Device Control > Synchronize Time > Click Synchronize
Reboot Device
Go to Access > Device > Select Device > Device Control > Reboot Device
Remove Admin Privilege
If the device is locked by the Administrator and the current user is unable to enter the device Menu, you can clear the Admin privilege at the device from AWDMS software. Go to Access > Device > Select Device > Device Control > Clear Administrator Permission.
Set Device Time Zone
You can set a specific time zone for a specific device if the device is located at a different location with different time zones. Go to Access > Device > Select Device > Set Up > Set Device Time Zone > Change Time Zone > Click Start
Real-Time Monitoring
The Real-time Monitoring page displays all records from all devices for real time events. You can see every record line-by-line. Go to Access > Device > Real-Time Monitoring
Remote Opening/Closing Door and Turn Off Alarm
You can control all doors remotely from Ingress. You can control the door open/close or reset the door alarm. Go to Access > Device > Real-Time Monitoring > Select Door > Click Remote Opening/Closing to open/close door or Click Cancel Alarm to reset alarm when the door alarm is activated.
