Resolving unable to open TCMSv3 due to an error message
Certain factors can cause TCMSv3 to repeatedly crash or fail to open. One common reason is a missing or corrupted setting in the user.config file. To troubleshoot and resolve this error, follow the steps below to fix the issue with the TCMSv3 software.
Please Try to Replace the user.config File in the Windows User Folder by Referring to the Steps Below:
1) Download the user.config file from the following link and save it to your desktop or any preferred location:
2) Go to the C Drive and enable the Show “Hidden Items” option.
Remark: The method to show hidden files may vary depending on the Windows version. If you cannot find the option, please contact your IT personnel for assistance.
3) Go C Drive > Users > admin (In this example, the Windows login is "admin," so the data will be stored in the admin folder. If the user installs the software using their own Windows account, select the corresponding folder accordingly.)
4) Navigate to the AppData > Local folder and find the Timetec_Computing_Sdn_bhd folder.
5) Inside the Timetec_Computing_Sdn_bhd folder:
6) Replace the existing user.config file with the one you saved on your desktop earlier.
7) Launch the TCMSv3 software and verify if the issue has been resolved.
