Holiday List Management Guide for Parking System Operations



Introduction

This guide is prepared to assist parking system operators in managing the holiday list within the parking system. It provides step-by-step guidance on how to add next year’s public holidays as well as configure special or ad-hoc holidays when required. 

Proper holiday list setup is essential to ensure accurate parking rates, season pass rules, and system operations during holiday periods. Operators are advised to update the holiday list in advance and verify all entries to prevent incorrect charging or access issues. 

This guide is intended for authorized operators responsible for parking system configuration and daily operations. 


Process


1.      Login into PMS, go to Parking Rule > Holiday List > click Edit button on the current Holiday List 
      
      

2.      Click on Year and select next year 
      


3.      Click the Search button to automatically add all Malaysian public holidays based on an internet search. 
      


4.      Check the holiday listing against internet sources and deselect any holiday dates that are not required or not applicable to the Parking Site’s State. Click checkbox to untick. 

      

5.      Double-check whether any holiday dates fall on a Sunday, as they will be observed or replaced on the following Monday. Click date button on the ‘Observed On’ column if need to replaced.
      

6.      Click Add button to add new special holiday 
      


7.      Click Submit button to save all new holiday list for next year.
