How to Setup Rounding for Work Hour and Overtime in Clocking Schedule via Timetec Attendance

Introduction


There are companies which want to view the user's total working hours and overtime in an even amount instead of appearing in an odd/decimal amount in the attendance module. Here, we will guide you on how to set up rounding in the clocking schedule via the Timetec Attendance module.


Process


  1. Go to Schedule > Clocking schedule.

  1. Click Edit (pencil icon) for selected clocking schedule.

  1. Click Rounding tab > Update Rounding data for Work Hour / Overtime (Minutes) > Select the Rounding option (Up/Mid/Down) > Click Submit.

  1. Once you make changes on the clocking schedule, you are required to generate the attendance (this process to update the user attendance to the latest setting). Go to Attendance  > Attendance.

  1. Click Manage > Click Generate.

  1. Select the roster which you just updated the new rounding setting > Select user > Select the date range (please select the start date the new clocking schedule applied to the user attendance data) > Click Submit.

  1. Generate attendance notification will appear at the bottom of the website. The generate attendance data process completed once the notification disappeared.
