How to Change Wallpaper for FingerTec Devices via USB

Introduction

Color multimedia FingerTec devices can display different wallpapers. By default, we have provided some wallpapers that you can choose from, however, users can also customize the wallpapers to suit their organization’s preferences. Below is the guide on how to change the wallpaper for FingerTec Devices via USB

A. Prepare wallpaper
In order to customize a new wallpaper, you will need to do the following:

1. USB drive must be format FAT 32

2. You need to create a folder named "wallpaper" in the root directory of the USB disk, and put the wallpaper pictures in this directory.

3. 20 pictures are supported and each picture cannot exceed 30 KB.

4. The picture name and format are not limited, with formats such as jpg, png and bmp

supported.

5. Please refer to table 1 for picture dimensions and supported devices.

B.  Steps to upload the wallpaper to FingerTec devices  

1. Menu > USB Manager > Upload > Wallpaper

2. Upload selected picture or upload all pictures

 

 

3. Menu > Personalize > User Interface > Wallpaper
