How to Add Career Path in Timetec Profile

Introduction


Career paths is a method by which an employee can develop and progress within an organization. Established companies will have a track record on their staff career progression and will record the data for their future reference. Here, we will guide you on how to add a career path in Timetec Profile.


Process


  1. From the Menu tab, you need to select Timetec Profile.

  1. Go to User > Manage User > Click Edit button (pencil icon).

  1. On the new page, you need to scroll down and go to the Career Path tab and click + Add More.

  1. Fill up all required information and click Save.


Designation : User designation.

Effective on : Start date where the user is using the designation.

Organization Structure : Division the user located when using the designation.

  1. Once you click Save, a new popup will appear and you need to select the career path record type and option to alert the staff about the new career path update accordingly.


  1. Career Path Record Type

  1. Promotion - User promoted to the new designation.

ii. Change Designation - User designation changes to new designation.

iii. Update Record - Only for updating user records in the system.


  1. Option to alert the staff about the new career path update

  1. Send to the affected staff only - Notification will only send to the user who has been promoted only.

ii. Send to the all staff - Notification will be sent to all users.

iii. Do not send any notification - No notification will be sent to users.

  1. New designation will appear in the career path tab. You are also able to add more designation by clicking the +Add More button.
