Determine the affected group for holiday access
1. Set a Time Schedule for Holidays
Go to Menu > access > Time Schedule >
We recommend using Time Schedule = 40 for Holiday. By default, all users will have no access to open the door during holidays. The device will show the user has failed to verify due to an invalid time period. The period depends on what has been set at this Time Schedule.
For example, If you were to set:
00:00 to 00:00 = Users will have no access for the whole day
08:00 to 1700 = Users have access from 8 am to 5 pm. If users verify between the time period, there will be it will not show an invalid time period. However, they do not have access from 12 am to 7.45 am and 5.01 pm to 11.59 pm on that day.
2. Insert Holiday List
You can set up to 99 holidays per year
Holidays can be set for a single day or consecutive days.
Go to Menu > Access control > Holidays > Add Holiday
Set start and end date for the holiday
The set date must be in the same year, for example, so you cannot set it from Dec 2023 to Jan 2024
Set Time Schedule = 40
3. Enable Holiday status
Go to Menu > Access Control > Access Control Options >
Tuen on ‘Valid Holidays’
4. Determine the affected group for holiday access
We can control all or certain users whether they can access the door during the holidays. This can be based on their access group. By default, all users are in group 1 but we can change the user to be in any group.
In the access group setting, we can control the verification method, access timezone and holiday access privilege.
Go to Menu > Access Control > Access Group > All Groups > Select the group that needs to change > Enable the ‘Include Holidays’ by turning it on.
Once the Include Holidays is set On, all the users in the group will have no access during the holiday time, The device will show ERROR: Invalid Time Period.
