Face ID 5 – Face ID 5 Master – Slave Connection with Anti-Passback Setup

Introduction

In previous technical tips, we have guided you on how to set it up and we also provide a wiring diagram for the Face ID 5 – Face ID 5 (master-master) connection.

Now, we show you how to set up Face ID 5 – Face ID 5 (master–slave) connection with an anti-passback setup.

Requirement

-          Face ID 5 (master)

-          Face ID 5 (slave)

-          Power Supply 12V

 

Wiring Diagram

 

 

Setting in Face ID 5 Device

-          After you finish the installation by referring to the diagram above, you need to change the settings from the device. Here is the step to change the setting :

 

Go to MENU – COMM. – Wiegand Setup

 

 

Select Wiegand Input/Output – Select ID Type – Choose User ID

 

 

 

Anti – Passback Setup

 

-          Go to MENU – Access Control – Access Control Options

-          Both devices must be set to which device is going to be the inside or outside reader

 

 

-          After that Go to MENU – Access Control – Anti–Passback Setup – Anti – Passback Direction
