Complete Guide to Uninstall Ingress and MySQL

Introduction

There are a few situations where users may need to perform a fresh installation of the Ingress software (along with database cleanup) on their existing PC. This may be necessary due to issues such as a corrupt MySQL database, database errors, or other related problems.

Most users typically go to the Control Panel to uninstall Ingress and MySQL, but when they run a new installer, it may still detect the old MySQL password because the files are still present in the folder located on the C drive.

This article will guide you through the process of completely cleaning up both the software and the database, allowing users to start fresh without any issues.

Process

  1. Uninstall Ingress and Mysql from the Control Panel > Program & Features > Uninstall Fingertec Ingress and Mysql Server 5.5
